WINDSOR, Vt. — Woodstock field hockey scored five times on the road Tuesday, beating Windsor 5-2. The Wasps reached 10 wins on the season and move to 10-1-1.
Woodstock came into the game unbeaten in their league at 5-0 and sitting first in the league standings, and the Wasps kept that going on the road. Windsor scored twice, but Woodstock found the cage five times to keep rolling.
Woodstock field hockey is next at home against Otter Valley on Saturday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m.

Woodstock at Springfield | Tuesday, October 6
Woodstock cross country had a big day at the Springfield home meet in North Springfield on Tuesday. In the boys 5K, Nicholas Cellini finished second in 17:41.94, just three seconds behind the winner, in a field of 57 runners. Liam Wheeler was 14th in 20:13.78 and Shawn Harriman was 16th in 20:21.82.
The Woodstock girls put five runners in the top 10. Mary Sluka led the way in third in 21:16.97, Pippa Shaw was fourth in 22:54.22, Aurora Hensel-Whalen was sixth, Aven Westbrook seventh and Ruth Stallard 10th. Team scores were not posted.
