BRADFORD, Vt. — Oxbow girls soccer played Enosburg Falls to a 0-0 draw at home Saturday through regulation and two overtimes. The tie ended Oxbow’s three-game losing streak; the Olympians move to 0-8-2 and left Enosburg at 3-6-1.
It was a grind-it-out home night. Neither side found the net across the long night, and Oxbow walked away with a hard-earned point after a rough stretch.
Oxbow girls soccer is next at home against Winooski on Friday, October 9, at 4:00 p.m.

Woods Trail Run at Thetford Academy | Saturday, October 3
Oxbow cross country raced at Thetford’s Woods Trail Run on Saturday. Junior Jake Danis placed second in Boys Division 3 in 18:53.1, finishing 3.6 seconds behind Liam Heth. Freshman Braelynn Parsons was 11th in Girls Division 3 in 25:43.4. Team scores were not posted.
It was a strong individual meet for the Olympians. Danis’s runner-up finish in Boys Division 3 headlined the Oxbow day.
BOYS SOCCER
Oxbow at Richford | Friday, October 2
RICHFORD, Vt. — Oxbow boys soccer won on the road Friday, beating Richford 3-2. The Olympians move to 2-8 and left the Falcons at 1-8-1 after their first road win in eight games, a stretch that reached back into last season.
It was a needed road breakthrough in their league. Oxbow finished enough chances to hold on in a one-goal game and finally left town with a win after a long drought away from home.
Oxbow boys soccer is next on the road at Blue Mountain on Saturday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m.
