Oxbow boys soccer’s season ended Tuesday afternoon with a 0-4 loss to third-seeded Paine Mountain in the first round of the playoffs.
The 14th-seeded Olympians held one of the top teams in the state scoreless through the first half before Paine Mountain pulled away after the break.

The Olympians’ wins this season came against Blue Mountain twice, 2-0 at home and 3-1 on the road, and a 3-2 road win at Richford on Oct. 2. Before the season, coach Chuck Simmons said, “Some of the key things to be successful this season is staying healthy and having the younger players step up and contribute.”
