CANAAN, N.H. — Mascoma field hockey came up short at home Monday, falling 2-0 to Conant to slip to 4-8. The visitors evened their record at 6-6 after keeping the Royals off the board in Canaan.
It was a tough home test. Conant scored twice and kept a clean sheet, and Mascoma could not find the cage before the final whistle. The Royals get a quick chance to bounce back, with another home game less than a day later.
Mascoma field hockey is next at home against Newfound on Tuesday, October 6, at 4:00 p.m.
