STRATTON, Vt. - Hartford girls soccer got a measure of revenge Tuesday, winning 3-1 at Stratton Mountain School. The same Stratton Mountain team beat the Hurricanes 4-2 in White River Junction back on Sept. 15.
Hartford moves to 6-5-1 on the season, while Stratton Mountain falls to 1-8. It was a nice bounce-back for the Hurricanes after a 4-0 loss at Otter Valley on Saturday, and it keeps them close to .500 with a few games left in the regular season.
Hartford girls soccer is next at undefeated Springfield on Thursday, October 15, at 6 p.m. at Riverside Middle School.
Other relevant play on Tuesday, October 13:
Mount St. Joseph (5-9) 0 at Otter Valley (12-1) 5 Otter Valley, which has beaten Hartford twice this fall, rolled at home in their division.
That wraps up the day for Hartford High School sports. We’ll see you next time!
