HANOVER, N.H. — Hanover football got back in the win column on the road Friday, beating ConVal 34-22. The Marauders move to 2-2 and left the Cougars at 1-3 after a four-quarter scrap in Peterborough.
It was a needed road statement. Hanover put up 34 away from home and answered when ConVal pushed back, closing a 12-point win in their division race.
Hanover football is next at home against Souhegan on Friday, October 2, at 7:00 p.m.

Defense keeps carrying the load. Hanover protected the shutout through the final whistle and kept the Clippers off the board.

It was a complete home night. Hanover closed the sweep cleanly and kept rolling through the early season.
