HANOVER, N.H. — Hanover field hockey came up short on the road Saturday, falling 3-1 at Pinkerton. The Bears stayed in it for stretches but could not match the home side through the final whistle.
A one-goal afternoon on the road still leaves work to do. Hanover will look to bounce back the next time it takes the field.

Hanover girls soccer was held without a goal at home as Goffstown left with a 4-0 win. The visitors controlled the day from the opening whistle and kept the Bears off the scoreboard.
